Contract
The contract entered into is between Thomas Bloomfield (The Bolt Hole) and the holidaymaker hereinafter referred to as "The hirer". The contract is effective once the required initial payment, deposit or balance, has been received from the hirer.
Duration
The cottage is normally let for a duration of 7 nights (3, 4 and 5 nights are available by special arrangement). The period starts on a saturday with the cottage being available after 3pm and running through until 11am the following saturday - the change over day. The cottage must be vacated by 11am on the saturday for departure to allow for adequate time to clean and reset the cottage.
Payment
For reservations made more than 8 weeks before the holiday start date this is the deposit due. In the case of bookings made less than 8 weeks before arrival full payment is due on booking.

The full balance of the total holiday cost is payable to Thomas Bloomfield not later than 8 weeks before the arrival date. When the balance of the rental is received travel directions and key arrangements will be forwarded.
Cancellation
If a booking is cancelled in writing more than 8 weeks prior to the start date of the holiday, all efforts will be made by The Bolt Hole to re-let the property, and if successful you will receive a refund of 50% of the amount paid at the time of cancellation. If Thomas Bloomfield cannot re-let the property, the full deposit is forfeit.
If a booking is cancelled less than 8 weeks prior to the start date of the holiday the full rental is forfeit unless Thomas Bloomfield can re-let the property, and if successful, you will receive a refund of 50% of the amount paid at the time of cancellation. If Thomas Bloomfield cannot re-let the property, the full rental is forfeit.
Children
All children of all ages can be accommodated including babies.
